it is a really good idea. reently there was much buzz aboout avatar adv (digitalpoint.com forums) as a means of promotion, now comes this idea. both are a good fit to extend the borders of traditional online promotion.
I did not notice before to post a comment on this news but our emails are visible. Very bad practice since all of us could possibly get spammed in the next weeks.
It'd be way more respectfull to advise comment posters that their email won't be masked or to do not show it at all.
Of course, by putting recognizable words in captchas, rather than random strings of numbers and letters, you may increase the likelihood a nonhuman could guess them...
Brilliant idea. Hard to develop on a large scale. You must have loads of captchas to secure comments from spamming.
Not easy to manage, more complicated that adwords...
You have a sick mind! :-)

Unbelievable idea - seeing and typing the words would cause a "strong" impression (as apposed to just seing an ad).
Research has proven that writing (I would assume, also, typing) = retention and, also, surprisingly, writing = believing.

Thats a nice idea. The question is who gets the money an who builds the captchas? The Software company or the Site owner?

OOOOOPS, no need to worry. Your email address is obfuscated in the code (view source) so email harvestors will not pick it up.
